Came home from mom's today, so I could get prepared to start the new job. I start on Tuesday, but used tonight to get my laptop and monitors all set up, so I can take it really easy tomorrow. Now that my work Windows laptop is all set to my liking, I'm feeling really good about things, especially my decision to switch to a Mac 15+ years ago 🙈

I realize that those of you who daily drive Windows are used to it, but still - I don't know how you do it. That operating system is HOSTILE.

To make up for all those times as a kid when my mom asked me to take meat out of the freezer for dinner and I forgot, I not only remembered today but I also started dinner.

A big ole pot of chili is now bubbling away on the stove. A preliminary taste, and I can report that it's gonna be a winner.

It took dozens of application, lots of anxiety, 4 interviews, and several cute outfits, but I just received a phone call with an (unofficial, until the paperwork goes through) job offer!

I'm beyond excited :-) I like the company, I love the people I interviewed with, and I'm stoked to be on the cusp of having disposable income again LOL

Last week, I had what was supposed to have been my final interview for this job I've been going for. I was told I'd hear back this week.

This evening, I got an email that they want me to interview one more time with another one of their Operations Directors. That's now scheduled for Thursday.

I'm a bit anxious, but on the bright side, they must really like me if they want me back for a 4th interview, right?

Really looking forward to having an income again!
