Today's tip: don't jump up and down on a rusty bit of fence when wearing Crocs. Now, the question is when was the last time I got a tetanus shot from doing dumb things in the backyard (most certainly within 10 years, probably within 5 years... or do I just go get boosted for the NEXT TIME I do something ? Update: got the booster, which was fully covered by insurance, just because.)

Hey gang, we have a new family member. His name is Buster. He's a 35# cattle dog mix rescue, and today is his & our gotcha day. He's already about 2. We're very happy. We hope he is too. He's working on destroying his 2nd toy. 😍

@darth, I tagged you elsewhere, but I was wondering if you think this is a good buddeh? ;)

Buster, a tan & white cattle dog mix with a pink nose & pointy ears. He's sitting on some bark mulch & has a leash & harness on in sort of a 3/4 view.

Our fishing boat had engine trouble and lost power out on the grounds this week, luckily it was calm weather & seas or it could have been deadly for my partner. Our good friend rope towed the boat in on a 12 hr run back to town, and then they lashed the boats together to steer into a tight berth in the harbor during a tide change. No such thing as the lone fishermen, it’s 100% a team effort. Really grateful for the safety that comes with solid community.
