Great, Boston Dynamics has connected their robot dogs into ChatGPT. Nothing like autonomous, killer robots run by AI. Breakfast for dinner. Caesar with bacon & eggs!

Homemade croutons with & homemade Caesar dressing with anchovies & such, parmigiano, thick bacon, poached eggs.

So… the trick for nice round, happy, smooth poached eggs like this?

Crack them into a little strainer so the loose white drops off, jiggle it so the yolk is in the middle of the tight white, then drop it into your simmering vinegar water to poach. A little 5-star hotel poaching trick for ya. 😃

    Indigenous People's Day. Incredible to imagine how long people have been here in my neck of the woods for at least 13,000 years. The latest were the Chumash; there's a Chumash shell midden out behind my house, thousands and thousands of years old.     @ai6yr I saw the map once, & it was (IMO) worth it. I can't remember if I bought it for a friend, or she bought & I just ordered it for her with some other stuff. Anyway, wasn't trying to plug Mr. Ottewell so much as I was trying to share something I thought was great about, um, original North American languages.

    @victor Was once trying to help someone with a computer problem. I helped her; she was extremely happy. Made an unrelated suggestion about the password list taped to her desk. She said it was very rare for people to be in her room there, but she'd tape a piece of paper over the list.

    Note: I believe the org in question no longer owns the building.

    Additional note: The building was technically a convent. I'm not making this up.

    Extraneous note: I loved feeding her birds. :)
