@Edent I verified myself but haven’t noticed any difference. I’ve been job hunting and have still had more luck from personal recommendations than from job posts or anything outside of my network.

I'm looking for an online tool to offer coaching/ mentoring / 1h consulancy that deals with payment and collects / remits VAT for me. Any idea? (Gumroad does that but it's for goods not services, Patreon too but I don't want subscription I want 1 shot sessions)

@stephaniewalter have you seen https://cal.com ? It has payments and video and other integrations. It might need a little deeper look into the VAT issue, but I think Stripe might help?

Bleh. I had this “ads on pause” thing (as a joke, mind) in my recent Netflix piece and followed it with “pauses ads when you’re blinking, or goes full retro by removing on-demand entirely”. So at least we know what’s coming next, I suppose.

@sarajw I haven't used the Adobe one to compare, but I managed well with react-day-picker in my last project.

Sorry, maybe I've misunderstood the reference component. You can set it up to select a range of dates and feed that back to a parent component to display.

I was using it to select date ranges for graphs on a dashboard.

Pleased to see that there's more Killtopia on Kickstarter. I haven't made it through the whole series yet, but I've backed an anthology of short stories from the universe (no back story required).

They're just over 50% funded with about half the time left. I'm really hoping that it gets to its first stretch goal story. The artist for it created a really cool comic anthology about the autistic experience.

It took me all weekend, but we managed to get our youngest a dedicated crafting desk from Ikea. He's really happy that he has space to draw and paint his 40K miniatures.

Didn't quite get to putting up the pegboard behind it. Hoping I can get them up quickly over lunch so it's a surprise for him coming home.

I used to love it when my parents added furniture or moved my room around when I was at school when I was smaller.
