It just occurred to me that I could 3D print cool looking ceiling tiles. 🤔 They could all be really thin too so it wouldn't take much filament.

Cool, that's what I was getting at, I am sure you would have got there eventually anyway, but always worth a mention!

I helped clear out a house a couple of years back, they had stuck polystyrene tiles to all the walls, all the way up the stairwells to both the upstairs and attic room... which was directly above the kitchen!

I just stared, stunned, in disbelief!

    Quite often it's just one or two people boosting awful stuff, you can hide boosts from individuals, just go to their profile and click on the three dots. It helps a lot.

    I also stay on Home and never go on Explore or Live Feeds.

    Maybe it's worth remembering;

    Wordpress.com - absolute control over your stuff through the back door - they own the back door. Opt out? Sure, but when/how effective?

    Jetpack - compromises to some of your stuff? Hard to tell without doing a deeper analysis. You own the back door, but you opened it for Jetpack - same with other plugins? All questionable!

    Posting your stuff on the internet without any login or paywall - access to everything you publish is by default.

    Tech got severely toxic!

    Apparently they have joined the 'all your data to be sold for AI training' posse of losers and grifters!

    If you are still hosting your website on wordpress.com you are now working for the enemy whether you like it or not 😂

    Oh, and due to typically sloppy slapdash incoherent inaccurate bullshit journalism, it is unclear whether this is wordpress.com or whether the entirety of wordpress including the open source code base is infected with this nasty virus.

    Mini adventure to Halifax today, I went to the little Thai Kitchen in the indoor market that makes lovely Thai food for a few £. Yum! 😋

    The customers were a riotous mix of nationalities, colours and creeds, if ever you need irrefutable evidence that we all get along just fine, this is an excellent place to visit.

    Anyone who claims different is lying to you; it's a tiny minority with a lot of power who are causing all the problems, everypeoeple get along perfectly well together! 💯

    Is using -keyword still a thing for search engines if you want to exclude keyword? I started that practice back in the days of Alta Vista and it worked great, and it's worked great for years, except up until about six months ago.

    I might have to go to the doctor, I seem to have lost the ability to communicate clearly. It keeps happening! Massive miscommunication issues, deep misunderstandings, it';s really making me feel like I should not say a single word!

    I speak to a nice chap in the coop, and he keeps saying that there seems to have been a significant change in the number of people not functioning as they did before, with the process of checking out their stuff at the till. He says it makes him feel uncomfortable, people who were always 'on it', doing the right things at the right time, suddenly struggling with pin numbers or forgetting where they were up to.

    He sees a lot of people every day all doing the same thing. 🤷‍♂️
