@muzzug Coffee Fusion is incredible! I was so impressed with the Aeropress (so delicious and naturally sweet that no sugar was needed) that I also ordered a mocha. An incredible recommendation.

For almost 4 decades I have been obsessed with . I air drummed all over everything. I spent a good 8 years playing the crap out of Rock Band's Pro/Expert drum mode and destroying at least 3 of those fake plastic toys. But it DID teach me some fundamentals...

Today, at 47 years old, I finally have the real thing. (Sure, they're digital drums, but you get my meaning.)

This is my drum kit. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.

(Yes, area rug is incoming...)

Between learning the fundamentals, I'm practicing my first song: Buddy Holly! Feels like a rite of passage or something 😂

On the third run, I hit 1000+ perfect notes out of a total of 1101. I think I can do this! 🥁

(Btw, this program is Melodics. Whoever recommended it here is a damn hero).

My wife and did an Alien Quadrilogy marathon this weekend, and...

Look, Alien Resurrection was never a good , but I'm surprised how poorly it has aged compared to the first 3.

It's so full of cringe dialogue and terrible 1990s moviemaking tropes. And most of the actors seem like they were cast to be goofy caricatures of sci-fi/military characters.

WHAT WENT WRONG?

(Sidenote: the original Alien is timeless, and perhaps the ONLY film of these first 4 that I classify as horror/suspense.)

When you see Starbucks in Czechia just keep walking. There’s probably an amazing local cafe around the corner….

Like Coffee Fusion! I had a delicious Aeropress there while prepping for some  stuff. It was so fresh and the sweetness in the beans really popped. I didn’t even add sugar!

Highly recommended for your fix.

@sesivany It FEELS that way. I can't tell WHY it feels that way, but I rarely feel relaxed in new, foreign cities. Brno is an exception.
