Global catastrophe is real, and imminent.

Not conducive to an easy sleep any night, but we need to keep living if we’re to keep fighting.

To keep living we need to have hope.

I know this video won't make any sense, but you're the only people I've got to share it with!

This is my increasingly mis-named "game engine" which reimplements part of SwiftUI's layout system.

First I move the mouse and show off the hover effects on some of my buttons and pixel-perfect hit detection on images.

Then I toggle some buttons to flex about how my HStack and VStack adapts to changing sizes and disappearing content.

Oh and I clicked to rotate one of the boxes because I could.

The general layout of the screen is a grid of boxes. There's a vertical stack of 3 on the left and they are generally red, green, and blue. Then on the right two thirds is a horizontal "stack" of more boxes which are green, red-ish, blue, and black. The top left has a green tree sprite. There's a goblin riding a bull in the middle right. There's a large red flag sprite thing in the bottom center. And there are a few very small sword graphics dotted around. There are also some buttons labeled "Make Big", "Make small!", "toggle!" and "Hmm."
