Housing supply in the US is up, mainly because:

  1. More people are listing homes for sale
  2. Fewer buyers are buying homes

Inflation in the US seems to be mostly coming from:

vehicles
services sector
housing

Dealers aren't budging on high vehicle prices and are sitting on too much inventory. They're also refusing allocations from manufacturers.

That's eventually going to break apart.

@acdha True. I've also seen from a few sources that auto insurance companies are totaling out more cars since COVID whereas they would have definitely repaired them before COVID. That would drive up rates, too.

Currently running intervals 3 days a week as part of #c25k in prep for a 5k.

@WTL @ShaunBurch Good advice! 👏

The best advice I got from great runners:

  • run slower to run faster (as slow as you can without walking)
  • try the POSE method (lots of videos on YouTube)

I couldn't do a kilometer without having to walk some to catch my breath. Now I can do a 10km run in about an hour without walking.
