Knees are a little sore after last run. Suspect I've got shit form.

Anyone have tips + suggestions, particularly on proper form?

Currently running intervals 3 days a week as part of in prep for a 5k.

The best advice I got from great runners:

  • run slower to run faster (as slow as you can without walking)
  • try the POSE method (lots of videos on YouTube)

I couldn't do a kilometer without having to walk some to catch my breath. Now I can do a 10km run in about an hour without walking.

I want to emphasize, this is NOT an April Fool's joke. It may come as a surprise, given I am the lead of @buddiesofbudgie, but I am just as interested in seeing adoption of Fedora and the greater Linux desktop increase. I firmly believe that Plasma as a default over GNOME Shell would be a net positive for the Linux ecosystem.

I didn't believe it after 5-6 people told me that but man, it does work. I ran 5 miles / 8 km this morning and stayed in zone 2/3 the whole time. Never touched zone 4. That's a first.

I felt like I could have gone further but I was getting bored making circles in the park. 😉

As someone who maintains CLI/SDK tools for Azure, Google, Hetzner, and VULTR (and helps with AWS tools), I must admit that the Oracle Python SDK and CLI are the easiest ones to maintain by far.

Upstream uses lots of built-in Python packaging concepts without many curveballs.
