Tried something a little different for the photo shoot on Harv's Island. Decided for a retro feel.

Like some of my other recent rooms, I designed the scene small. This scene is just Muffy and Raymond sitting in front of an old TV watching their stories.

It turned out cute and Raymond in his little suit just fits for the old fashioned scene I'm setting up.

This is such masterful storytelling that draws you in with amazing flow and fantastic beats while Andre 3000 tells his, as of yet, incomplete story.

When I thought about the topic, my first thought is #PianoMan by #BillyJoel. It tells a story through the music and through a music man at a bar.

I know I posted it to my #Pixelfed account, but today is the 9th birthday of my twin daughters. It's wild to think that it has been that long.

They are just such different people. One is an introverted, sarcastic, voracious reader who loves soccer & penguins. The other is an extroverted, compassionate, aggressive hugger who loves pigs & makes friends everywhere she goes. They are so different, but so amazing.

So thankful for them both.

I think I am realizing my issue with #Pixelfed, which is to say it's the same issue with my main #Instagram account - my photos are such a random assortment of things with no coherent theme...also, no consistency in posting.

Now, on #Mastodon, having no coherent theme is fine. It's a platform that is based around conversations and so I've been able to interact with a great community of folks about #manga, #music, and all sorts of things. But, on a largely visual platform where the point is to share pics, wild variety doesn't seem to work as well. And without continuous posting, it's hard to keep up what little following I have.

My oldest child is a high schooler now.

Ugh. That 3 lb 1.4 oz baby is now a high schooler.

So, I've thought about this before with my #ACNH screenshots and @elisse just brought it up again. Do you think it would make sense to set up a #Pixelfed account that's focused on my #AnimalCrossing posts?

For #Instagram, I have a separate account where I only post up ACNH pics. On that account I only follow ACNH or cozy gaming accounts. But, on Fedi, I wasn't sure if it made sense. Part of me likes that I keep it included along with my catch-all that is my personal Masto account.

What do you think? Do you think it makes sense to make separate, ACNH focused Pixelfed account for my pics?

#MayTheFourth be with you & have a wonderful #StarWars Day.

However, for me today is more than Star Wars Day, as today is my oldest child's birthday. Today they turn 14.

14 years ago around this time I was at work. My wife called me from the hospital as I was training someone to replace me while I was out on Paternity leave. At that point, my wife had been in the hospital on bedrest for 3 weeks. But, our baby was coming that day as she developed pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome.

The baby was coming 10 weeks early.

Flash forward 14 years & we have a teenager. Where does the time go?
