I think Konosuba's "hai, Kazuma desu" joke might be the funniest, most well executed running gag in all of anime.

Kazuma's background/side commentary in general is hilarious but the extent to which Fukushima Jun subtly adjusts the delivery for every "hai, Kazuma" is absolute perfection. I actually laugh out loud every time

EDIT: Oh and for those unaware, it started as an ad lib by Jun-san. Not even in the script. Just tossed it out there and now it's infamous

I know I shouldn't be surprised given the man we're talking about but still, it makes me a little giddy

I'm sure he doesn't remember meeting me years and years ago at a show in NYC where I was working the booth that hosted him (GGn) but him and his crew were so genuine and down to earth and legitimately good people. I even wound up beatboxing on stage to fill some empty time between sets

If you're not familiar with nerdcore or front himself, it's worth checking out. I'm not even a hip-hop fan but his flow is so unique and lyrics so niche I can't help but love it

I'm honestly annoyed with PC gamers' response to Helldivers 2 requiring PSN accounts.

Refunding a game you've played for >200hrs because you have to make a new account? It's so childish.

If you're worried about a data breach or something, do what most security-conscious people do: use a unique username/password.

If you're in one of the few countries where PSN isn't an option you have a legit argument once they actually lock you out but the devs already say they're working on that problem.

If you're getting btfo because Sony wants your gameplay data, I have no sympathy.

I have plenty of issues with Sony. This ain't one of them

GrubHub+ is officially pointless now.

The last 6 times I've gone to order delivery, ordering on GrubHub was more expensive than ordering from the restaurant directly, even after the discounts from GrubHub+.

Why? Because the same item is priced higher on GH. A burger meal that's $14.99 from Red Robin is $17.99 on GH. They're doing this consistently with every restaurant, likely to offset the cut that GH takes.

The centralized delivery service model has completely failed. It used to be worth the subscription. Now it's just a waste of money

Despite already having read every book in the series, I'm thoroughly enjoying the new Spice and Wolf anime.

The pacing is great for the content being translated to the screen, and they are intelligently skipping over bits that are less intriguing or important to the story in favor of focusing on the more exciting mercantile subterfuge and relationship between Lawrence and Holo. I'm also a big fan of how much more expressive they've made Holo's animation this time around.

Episode 3 is in the bag and I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season plays out

It's official, Rascal Does Not Dream series is ending with the 15th volume in October. I love this series and I'm sad it's ending but I'm happy to see it conclude gracefully. Hopefully they'll include all of it in the currently-in-production anime since the writing is already done. Would love it if the entire story was animated

They accidentally left a translators note in the most recent volume of Classroom of the Elite. It's a literal translation and the interpretation of it.

I honestly wish I could get books with this type of "director's commentary" because it's very interesting to see how certain ideas are phrased in other languages.
