Was amazed by the #Duolingo “league” that I wound up in yesterday. The leader did 4,280 “XP” (experience points) in ONE DAY. 🤯
To understand why this is amazing, each language lesson in Duolingo is typically worth 10-20 XP. With bonuses and rewards some can get to 40, 50, or 80 XP.
To get to 4,280 requires a HUGE number of lessons and investment of MANY HOURS of time!
A mind-blowing amount of work.. clearly someone is extremely focused on learning a new language! 😲

There is also something called 'Matching Madness', which is quite fun and gives a lot of XP as you progress, much more than lessons. Maybe that person is addicted to that?

I would also suggest searching for previous versions of their website on the @internetarchive. That is a very powerful tool to have in your toolbox. @MattMerk
google images is filled with ai-generated garbage. news is stuffed with twitter/x links and a ton of other non-news results. searches often give you back a bunch of useless seo-optimized pages made for ad revenue. it’s a failure, and they want us to believe a chatbot is the fix.

I'm not sure if this happens only with pixelfed.social or with any Pixelfed instance, but adding it as a Timeline never fetches anything. Also, no warning of not finding a public timeline is shown, as I've seen with some Mastodon instances.

If I quickly do at least two of boosting, bookmarking, or favoriting a toot, I receive an error message that something went wrong, even though the actions are saved by the server as expected.

Thank you for letting me know! I have been using other apps together with Fedilab just because of bookmarks.
But I should agree with another reply that asks for an easier way of getting to bookmarks. It is not intuitive to look for it under an Interactions menu. In fact, I think I have never opened that menu, so maybe it's a naming issue?
