    Someone mentioned another OS. has run on these 93 operating systems. Do you know of one not yet mentioned?

    @bagder might be nitpicking but ibm pc dos isn't there and there's a bit of a difference between msdos 1-3 vs >4.x

    @bagder actually i don't.
    i've used ibm pc dos 1.0 onwards and i've not seen curl. :)
    probably has to do with the lack of network drivers that has to be compensated with things like x00 fossil drivers to start with.
    it might be achievable but back then, i don't have access to internet.
    i guess i am wrong to assume that curl is ubiquitous across older MS-DOS since the other flavours of DOS are mentioned.

    @Deus which is also following road rules that everyone else (cars or otherwise) is doing so I don’t see a legitimate reason other than an anti foreigners one.

    What I’m seeing are complaints about the carting existsance itself because it’s a tourist activity (nevermind that other Japanese that are visitors to tokyo can take part) and not the “not following road rules” part.

    That alone tells me all I needed to know.

    i mean if you are going for max alcohol , its more worth to get hard liquor and dilute it with ice/water instead. 😬​

    Right folks, I have to dash.

    I have to pick up 9yo daughter from school, get her home, push some macaroni cheese into her face, get her into her Brownies uniform, get her to Brownies, and...

    Relax for a bit, as it's campfire evening, which means I get to sit around in a big field with some of the mums, and toast some marshmallows and sing some silly songs and play some silly games.

    I wish more dads would get involved.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy to show off in front of all of the mums.

    It's just a shame all the other dads seem to be too busy all the time...

    @shibashecurity unfortunately, not all dads have that luxury. too often parents are guilted to staying in the office and then having to have one partner make a 'sacrifice'. why can't both parents go?

    a lot of the 'office culture' about 'families' don't extend to "inconveniences" like employee's children or them getting sick. nevermind special occasions.

    i'm lucky i've been in remote roles, so i can do a lot of those things, but i'm painfully aware that my next job wouldn't be just as family friendly.

    @binsk fwiw, I like to think that I am not helping some bean counter boost up signup stats and thus securing future investment into the machine.

    One thing I know is, never get too comfy as environments changes whether I like it or not. I hope people have a plan B…C etc.
