I unsubscribed from Quora with a free account because I was getting specific questions that the manufacturer of computer items could best answer. Suspect I was getting questions from manufacturers to advertise their new products. The questions were far too specific.

Yet, I got another post from Quora today. I used Gmail to mark it as spam and block it.

My advice is to avoid Quora.

IRS now uses ID.me to very a filer's identity. I use TaxAct and got IRS pins for my spouse and me several years ago. Plus my ID is verified in some federal databases as an armed services' retiree.

Every time I file, I have to use the IRS pins and Florida
driver's license numbers for my spouse and me. It is tedious, but it prevents fraud.
