Something odd is happening with my Scrobbles ...

when I'm outside on network Wi-Fi or local hotspots - if I lose signal during a song, they are being counted twice ...

even though Spotify continues playing that song just the once while looking for next Wi-Fi

Whenever I feel even just a bit under the weather,like this morning, I do a COVID test if I’m going anywhere just to be safe. I rib myself, “There are other disease too you know.” Not this time. Hopefully as benign as my first time with it a couple years ago.

It's disheartening to see people who otherwise seem to have logic and reasoning, become caught up in the emotional group thinks being deployed on the American people.

The self-righteous anger, the looking down on allies and viewing things through a lens of "win" and "lose" isn't your lens, it's theirs, but they have tricked you and you have forgotten yourself.

I completely understand and support the positions they are fighting for.

I voted for Ross Perot in '92. Similar situation but also very different.

Then, it was about the disgust in our party system and inept government. Fortunately everything worked out then

The stakes here at home are so high. Maybe that gets said too often at election time, but it's true!

Is a protest vote worth losing a woman's right to choose?
Is a protest vote worth having all racist history erased?
Is a protest vote worth accelerating the climate crisis so the rich can get richer?
Is a protest vote worth denying LGBTQIA+ the right to live as their authentic self?
Is a protest vote worth living in a fascist state?
Is a protest vote worth sacrificing the Ukranian people? Taiwan's independence? Furthering the suffering in Gaza?

Question for all you folks much smarter than I ... would it be difficult to build a tool that allows someone to type in any Fediverse instance name - and view a current, LIVE, home timeline from that instance?

I've seen versions of this in some apps, but they are Mastodon specific ... I've tried each one, and was only able to pull up Mastodon instance home timelines ...

Wouldn't it be great to see what's going on in other corners of the fediverse for ALL platforms?

Pixelfed, Pleroma, Friendica, PeerTube, LOOPS, Bookwyrm, MissKey, and of course Mastodon and the many others.

Provided, of course, that particular instance wasn't private or wanted to be excluded.

Is that possible?

Been in this weird funk for a while where I feel listless when it comes to drawing. It's not that I don't have projects to do. But I feel kind of lost about all of it and I don't know what to do with this. It's been going on for a while and it's very frustrating.

It feels like I've lost my muse, I guess. I've been trying to figure it out or find a new muse and I'm just not sure why it's not working out for me, even when I take a break.

☝️gosling watch ... Mama still sitting on nest 🤞

turns out today was hatching day for this mama Muscovy Duck ... showing her TEN ducklings where the water is ... look at those personalities already! 😉🤣

Just feet from Mama Canada Goose is Mama Muscovy Duck, here at the pond's edge showing her 10 (TEN) new ducklings where the water is and drinking to teach them. The ten yellow and brown fluff balls appear uninterested and opt to rest in the mud instead. Several are looking in her direction but a few others are looking off in other directions and three have allowed a gap between them and the others, as if they stopped early.

Cannot stress how, since I've started regular yoga as my main source of strength training, I have become much more aware of my posture and core.

Now if only I could keep up with the breathing parts x_x trying to breathe properly while engaging my core for so long is tough ugggh
