I'm a one-lady band, session artist, and producer-in-training from Ithaca NY. 😊🎶 My new album, "A Place to Go When You Need to Hide," is a concept album about how hard it can be to not lose ourselves in the high highs and low lows of life, and how we can all find a place of peace inside of ourselves where we can go when things get to be too much and, from here, actively choose how we want to move through whatever is happening around us. Zurich has a functioning public transport system, there's very little traffic in the city center.

How stupid is that? How are folks meant to get angry at each other and hate life if they're not stuck in a traffic jam?

Song 5 from my new album is "The Devil That You Know," and it's a blues-and-psychedelic-inspired tune that explores the difficulty and fear of letting go of old, toxic, but familiar and comfortable patterns for newer, healthier ones in a world that feels increasingly unstable. Incidentally, the best part of this song is the eerie tremolo guitar hovering above the choruses.     @mxtthxw fuse audio has a free one called vrev-666 that’s pretty neat. I’ve found it to be a bit much and usually use other reverbs but it’s worth checking out for the price 😊🎶

    Thich Nhat Hanh says death is an illusion and only when conditions are right can things manifest or "exist." If there's no radio in a room we may think radio programs don't exist. Despite the radio waves all around us, we need the condition- the radio- to be present in order for us to hear them. So when people are gone from our lives, are they really gone?
