  1. encourage public entities to share public info on public channels, not private platforms

  2. embrace sharing in real life, use email, snail mail, private messenger, radio, newspaper, public forum, neighborhood scale gathering

  3. create and use nonprofit and publicly owned social sharing platforms, but prioritize real life sharing when possible

@seachanger I wish I knew but I suspect that active travel and liveable communities are a part of it. As is a radical transformation of the economy to put more time and money in people’s pockets so they can have time for “community”.

@patrickhadfield a good analysis though the setting back of independence was really done some years ago when the SNP blew it immediately after the Brexit vote and then repeatedly wasted mandates. Independence has sadly been off the agenda since “now is not the time” went unanswered.

Today is 87 years since Antonio Gramsci died at the hands of the Italian Fascists.

Gramsci, a founder and leader of the Italian Communist Party, was imprisoned by Mussolini’s regime in 1926. During his imprisonment he wrote extensively about history, politics and society.

His work on the role of culture, ideology, and the consent rulers obtain from those they rule has been influential in understanding how groups gain and maintain power.

@dcbuchan I did 5 in 4 for many years. Allowed for family commitments, study and other interests. As I travelled lots for work it also meant I never took toil, helping my employer. It was great.

The presentation went really well, almost making up for last night’s food poisoning and projectile vomiting at 2am. 😥

13 and 14 are a good couple of episodes. Despite the cliches (daring operation, monster of the week), there’s the best bits of Bad Batch in terms of tension and great animation, and a good converging alternation between the batch’s quest to liberate Omega and Omega’s quest to do the same from the inside.

Two episodes left, in which they need to resolve this immediate storyline, write the entirety of the Clone Wars and Bad Batch out of consciousness, and prepare for the rest of the canon.
