It's funny, I've always struggled with 'imposter syndrome' and wanting to always be/do better, know/learn more, and actually do something constructive.

But the more I learn, the more experience I get, it's still getting harder for me to balance the feeling of inadequacy and ambitions

Exiting act two. This game is an absolute masterpiece. I must say I did enjoy act one more than act two, as it is starting to narrow in focus and your ability to free roam, but it cannot be overstated what an amazing accomplishment this game is

Why do SOAP APIs still exist? The tooling is so bad. They're impossible to deal with. This was not designed for humans. I am frustrated! 😂

I find it weird that writing on Teams (or similar messenger) asking if they can disturb is still a thing.
It's not like messenger systems is something new in the office anymore and of course it's interrupting to ask if you can interrupt.

Oh and also people writing "Hi" as a single message, and then 30 seconds later still is typing follow up.

@georgetakei Everybody needs to band together and vote them out of every position in every place of control. I doubt that can happen though as your country is too entrenched in the two party system.

Folks who do development with a frontend framework (, , ), is your frontend code part of the solution, or have you split the backend and frontend into separate isolated folders?

@khalidabuhakmeh It can be either. More and more we move to own, but some are combined. Usually it comes down to complexity and size, and/or if there's some hybrid with MVC/razor as well.

I learned this from Plus, and I feel so good now, there are actually known abbreviations for how I code. 💋 I already knew. I like that one too.

For example: in my .NET Web API controllers I only use services if I need to duplicate code.

I'm not saying this is right or wrong, good or bad, it's just how I do it. I can always refactor later.

My feelings right now about #meta, the #fediverse, and my own cozy corner here on #Hachyderm is that I'd like my instance not to sell my data to meta, not to federate with meta, and not to have clandestine meetings with meta.

I'm not being hardline or a zealot about it, but I think extending any amount of grace to an organization that has shown nothing but contempt for every other actor they engage with, and has never demonstrated any trust-worthy qualities, is just damn foolish. That's my vote
