We got my husband off to the hospital at 4:15 this morning. Because he has skin cancer on his face that has stubbornly recurred after three removal efforts, today they are trying a different strategy. Hopefully, the mohs surgery is successful.

Proud to have spoken in favor of, and then voted with the prevailing side in passing a new law that would allow 16 and 17 year olds in our town to vote in local elections. The state would have to approve it, but it's a start!
