Just had an IUD put in me by a religious Jewish gynaecologist, not his first or last. In Judaism sex that isn't intended for pregnancy is sinful as it disrespects the holiness of life in sperm (although abortions are fine).

Just saying, if you chose a job that includes in it things that go against your faith, choose another job or be a decent human being like this man and do it well, kindly and respectfully in a modern world.

Blue is the color closest to my soul. In the ages of 0-4 my mom took me to the beach every single day and I learned to associate blue with calm and freedom. Only later in life I learned blue is seen as sad by some, something I fully reject. Blue isn't sad - it's just low energy euphoria. It's calm, entrancing, mysterious and pure. Things I have always known about #Judaism but only now understand Part 1:

1. We are a tribe. And we also invented the word.
2. We don't have much power over society as a tribe even though many of us are very successful, we know how quickly things turn.
3. We may be the only people that people on all political extremes see as the source problem of everything they don't want to take responsibility for themselves.
4. Almost all of our holidays are about our enslavement and genocides.
