Hey @thunderbird just notice that the welcome page in Spanish shows the text in Argentinian. It's a bit similar, but has diferences:
Ayudanos → Ayúdanos
vos → is not used in Spanish
Doná → Dona
Publicá → Publica or Realiza
Tenés → Tienes
and much more...

Do you need to BCC the same recipient on every outgoing email? Thunderbird makes this easy! 💪

Go to Account Settings > Copies and Folders > check 'Bcc these email addresses' for each account. ✅

thinking about some top cybersecurity tips for normal people

1. use a password manager (like 1Password (cloud), Bitwarden (cloud), or KeepassXC (local))

2. use an ad blocker (uBlock Origin)

3. maximize the use of multi-factor authentication

4. host contacts in a privacy-respecting service. do not share contacts with apps

5. use a privacy-respecting email provider. archive email to a local drive, which @thunderbird makes easy

6. for regularly visited websites, even if you sign-in to use them, use @torproject Tor Browser, if the service does not block Tor

3. use YubiKeys everywhere

Feed Validators say that apple will only follow 5 of them and I think one analytics step is enough, 0 would be even better.
I think you should axe the intermediary steps.

Just dropped C$27 on @thunderbird (net to Tbird $25) because there's only two ways to get the bugs/features that aren't red hot done: do it yourself, or pay someone else to work on them. I went for option B.

I see some people are really disappointed about Debian packaging a stripped-down version of KeePassXC. But hey, I actually wish there was also a minimal @thunderbird package without integrations of IRC or Matrix etc, just with core email functionality.

¿Les suele pasar que al responder un email, de los que vienen con formato/html, les queda el color del texto en blanco?

Tengo que seleccionar negro cada vez (si no el texto queda igual que el fondo... de hecho todo el texto citado también queda en blanco....)

Ever since I quit Google I've stopped receiving junk emails, used to come about 10 a day and would end up in promotions folder, or updates, or socials, which google created. Now, I get nothing. Only newsletters, some of which are industry related so I don't mind them.

lately #thunderbird is freezing at start.. very slow response, almost unusable UI. takes a while to get to normal behavior, and sometimes freezes completely (=have to kill process).
using just 14 imap accounts (in 4 different servers) with a few dozen filters, and ~10 RSS feed subscriptions.
also connected to cardav/caldav with a single nextcloud instance.
could be network related, but have noticed same behavior both with slow/fast network connections.
