As the universities (which are not run by a secret Jewish cabal) crack down on protesters using the police (which are not run by a secret Jewish cabal) and local governments (which are not run by a secret Jewish cabal), I'm pretty sure some press release from the ADL, one random shitty Jewish lady on tiktok, and the nefarious existence of checks notes Hillel and campus Chabad will inevitably get all things blamed on a secret Jewish cabal.

I've been following this very weird post on my "unprotected" account. The one that sees all the racist, antisemitic, misogynist, homophobic shit the fediverse produces in the normal course of the day.

This shithead makes a set of easily verifiably false allegations to try to get rid of a single user account that catalogs antisemitic content in the fediverse.

I read every post the account ever made yesterday. No truth to this at all.

And it spawns conspiracy comments from other users including accusations that this is an Israeli state actor.

What happens when fediblock is misused to target an account that catalogs, with receipts, antisemitism?

Nothing?

Very strange place yall built here.

What's the difference between this and Shitter other than having fewer people of color and Jews?

I encourage everyone to follow @endantisemitism

You may disagree with it occasionally. You may know it gets it wrong occasionally.

This instance handles, on average, 6.5 reports of antisemitism a day.

Why is that significant? It's significant because Babka already suspends individual accounts, and Limits entire instances.

Despite this, we deal with ~6.5 new antisemitic accounts per day.

And yet, if we look at the graphs from Fediverse Observer, the number of active users on the Fediverse has gone down!

So what exactly does that mean, if the number of antisemitic accounts continues to grow and the number of active users continues to shrink?

It means that the number of antisemites on the Fediverse is quite large, and what we're seeing isn't new antisemites as much as it is antisemitism being so normalized that people feel comfortable spouting hate, and that despite blocking or silencing thousands of accounts, hate continues to be emboldened.

My youngest was very disappointed to come downstairs this morning and find out his school's not delayed. Dude, your brother's school was delayed because they have students from all over the region. Yours is local and there's not one bit of snow...

And now my eldest's school is closed, even as I've already dropped the younger one off for a full day of school.

What's funnier is that between when I left to take Ruvi to school and when I returned (about 35 minutes), it went from raining to full-out snowing, and it's now sticking on rooftops, grass, and cars.
