The premise of the novel is that thousands of years ago a spacecraft crash landed on a planet that has a fantasy setting. Three adventurers stumble across the spacecraft and awaken the ai inside it.

In my old age I've come to realize that religion is a system designed to keep the weakest under control and drive away all creative thought.

Yet faith is something incredibly powerful and enabling - when it is freed from religion and allowed to blossom without being choked off by arbitrary rules that only serve those who wish to stay in control over you.

There's a website called puter that allows you to run web based apps in an OS like environment. What's cool is it has an api you can build against as well! 1. Self host everything

I have so many ideas and files on dropbox, google drive, evernote, etc etc and now I need to spend a ton of time to get them out into a universal format ( Markdown )

I wish there was a version of the Hallmark Channel that featured sci-fi and fantasy themes. I enjoy romance stories but tired of having a normal lady leave her big city life to go visit a small town and rekindle her love for an ex boyfriend.

Why can it be about an exiled princess who has to live in the elven realm and meets someone there. Or an assassin who retires and goes to live in a remote fantasy village and falls for a lonely apprentice wizard, but her past catches up with her and ..

We need to come up with a way to air drop little internet devices that have all the banned / blocked / suppressed information that kids need to survive in this new fascist reality we are living in. We need to make sure that the open internet is not sliced and walled away ...

We should make more games that subvert genre's. Like make an RPG where you start out as a godlike entity and slowly lose power and loot while healing monsters.

Or you have a massive treasure hoard and you must explore ancient ruins to restore stolen treasure.

Wouldn't those be some interesting and fun #games ?

It seems like if you can reach a certain threshold of followers on Mastodon, the fun level jumps considerably, and it feels like what Twitter could have been if it was full of considerate, thoughtful, and nice people. You all rock seriously.
