The Nation published a damning story about the depth of Harvard's ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

I have no doubt that almost all of it is true.

However, there's an egregious lapse in fact-checking that does an injustice to Stephen Jay Gould. In the story, Alan Dershowitz claims that Gould was a regular at Program for Evolutionary Dynamics events at One Brattle Square.

Gould died in 2002. Nowak came to Harvard and opened the One Brattle Square facility in 2003.

This headline from 111 years ago shows that we've long known about global warming, but not that it'd be a problem.

People back then thought warmer temperatures would be a good thing.

Only in the last few decades have we appreciated the negative effects of climate change.

    Someone appears to have issued for protection there in at the striken World Scout Jamboree. Not a bad idea. Spot check and nearly every group walking has umbrellas.

    I’ve absolutely got to the point where I don’t believe any large road/PT announcement from either party. 100% vapourware.

    I’d love to be proven wrong but it’s around 6 attempt / 1 thing started / 0 things done so far. (CRL being the one)

    Was it THAT painful to get the southwestern tunnel done?

    Tunneling all the way to Albany, and having the southern end emerge at the same place as the existing bridge is complete madness.
