ContentConsumer9999,

Well, I'm not sure this is what you're looking for but Tabletop Simulator is a board game simulator that has a diverse category of games in its workshop mod. I'm sure a lot of the games can be played with 5 players.

ContentConsumer9999,

Which contact form? Does Kbin have an admin contact page?

ContentConsumer9999,

the link to the comment in the notification

What is this exactly?

ContentConsumer9999,

Oh! I think I've had that happen once. Glad it's getting fixed.

ContentConsumer9999,

Kbin actually does let you look at and browse microblogs as well as threads.

ContentConsumer9999,

You'd have to be really clear about what you mean by "perfect".

ContentConsumer9999,

I feel like blocking someone should just make your content dissappear for them.

ContentConsumer9999,

Blocking someone means that you don't want to interact with them anymore and making all of your content invisible to them is a pretty surefire way of doing that.

ContentConsumer9999,

Yeah, I guess if they're constantly harassing you under your threads/microbologs/comments you can just report them and get them banned.

ContentConsumer9999,

Well, I haven't been that active today but I haven't encountered any issues yet so things seem to be going well, at least for me.

What does the "Favorites" feed do?

I've been using Kbin for a few months now and I didn’t really feel the need to set my #feed to anything besides "Subscribed". I can guess from their names what the "All" and "Moderated" feed are but I have no idea what the #favorites feed does. I've seen that the recently added #collections also use the word "favorite" when...

ContentConsumer9999,

Got it! Thanks.
Btw, do you know if I see content from my favorited collections in my sub feed?

ContentConsumer9999, to kbinMeta

@ernest I tried to upvote this post and got an error. P.S. This happened just a few minutes ago.
Edit: I tried it again and it seems fixed.

ContentConsumer9999,

actually handles this really well. Whenever it detects 2 of the same (at least that's how I think it works), it'll group them and only show one of the threads on your feed. If you click on it, right under the thread will be the other -posted threads on other magazines, each of which has its own upvote/downvote and comment count. You can click on any of those threads to switch to a certain magazine's thread and see the there. Also, when you comment, it only goes to the thread you currently have open.

ContentConsumer9999,

has a to kind of deal with this called . Instead of subscribing to all of a same type or even name, you can put them in a collection (or find a collection where somebody already did that) and then favorite that collection see all of those magazines in your feed. Splitting up the discussion is still not ideal but at least this lets you see all of it at once and increases .

ContentConsumer9999,

Yeah, I believe Ernest had some serious irl issues come up and had to take a step back from development, which slowed progress down massively. But ever since he got back, he's been working really hard to the major and make the instance easier to use.

ContentConsumer9999,

Yeah, I just wanted to specify it isn't a mass comment kind of thing.

Flipboard has begun testing ActivityPub federation of user accounts (flipboard.com)

Mike McCue - Hello Fediverse. I'm posting this tonight from my federated Flipboard profile! We're now testing our #ActivityPub integration starting with my account. You can follow me here to see all the stories I'm curating about things like startups, photography and of course, the #Fediverse. Curious to hear your thoughts on...

ContentConsumer9999,

Can you actually PeerTube from other ? As a Kbin user, I can see both Lemmy threads and Mastodon microblogs and I know Mastodon users can tag Lemmy (and maybe also Kbin) magazines to make threads there. Is there a way to interact with PeerTube like that?

ContentConsumer9999,

Well, after messing around a little, Kbin seems to be able to do both. I can your PeerTube or to your . Interestingly, PeerTube seems to allow you to create multiple channels under a username which is kinda similar to Kbin's or Mastodon's .

ContentConsumer9999,

Oh, I just use on my posts to make them easily . So someone looking to see what people are saying about collections can search "" and find my post.

ContentConsumer9999,

Actually, I'm quite fond of this - formation. It lets people have different channels for different content. Like how some YouTubers have a main channel and a second channel with low quality videos or how some streamers have a VODs channel.

ContentConsumer9999,

I try to use hashtags for topics specific to my comment and not already covered by the thread, the comment(s) I'm replying to or the magazine in general since people know they can look under that thread to find more of that topic anyways. Now admittedly, I may not be that consistent with this and might make some tags that fall a bit outside the topic but that's at least my goal. I wasn't using Twitter that much before my Reddit migration and I first started using hashtags with Kbin so I'm not sure how exactly they should be used.
