The system of support gems + interlinked sockets in PoE. It's drawn new back to the game multiple times, and i would love to incorporate something similar into a game of my own making someday.
The spellmaking in oblivion was pretty great too, you could make multiple spells which applied weakness to magic and to specific elements in enemies, and since they were applied by different spells they would multiply each others' effects. Then you hit the enemy with a damaging spell and annihilate them.
I never saw it mentioned anywhere, but for me, hiring enemies with sufficiently powerful magic would ragdoll them, a bit like if you hit a corpse or a paralyzed enemy. So doing a 4-3-2-1 combo, 3 different spells that applied 100%weakness to magic and lightning, then hitting them with a lightning spell, would always send them flying. Sometimes it would be like they just vanished because the amount of damage applied by the spell threw them so forcefully.
I keep hearing my friends complain about the status of the servers. I'm just still dumbfounded that people heard it was essentially online single player and bought this anyway....
If some way to pirate it becomes available I'll certainly do that, but no matter how good it might be, or even if they address the stupid forced online bullshit, i fully intend to never again pay for a blizzard product.
My feeling at this point is that spaz really just wants to check out. He knows, or perhaps has realized now that in the process he's going to kill his platform, but that's not an issue to him. Social networks go in cycles and maybe he saw some hint reddit was in the downturn, or maybe he just wants to take his money now while the value is still there.

For me: decaf coffee is great, one of the best inventions of the modern age. If you dislike decaf, you prolly don't actually like coffee, it's just your habitual method of caffeine delivery.

Spiders are said to eat the mass of the entire human species every year. That's mostly insects. And that's an enormous amount to hand the insect population swell by every year. Of course, it would only increase that much in the first year. After that the growth would probably be exponential, at least until food sources were eliminated. Then the species that depend on those would go the same way, and so on up the food chain. It would probably actually be quite fascinating to see from an external perspective, or to study after the fact.
I always employ a mix of quantum and regular. I've never really experimented with minecarts, so i have to employ dump zones which goes a lot more smothering smoothly if the materials are already right there.
