How about a spreadsheet release (on GitHub) so we can easily filter things out? 👀

Last one for this piece. I'm super proud of how this came out! It feels good to be back in the groove.

@illusionofmana nice
Reminds me of Elysian Shadows.

Heres an old speed drawing video I made a few years back. This was just meant to be a practice digital sketch. Done in Photoshop

@Thejrluna The way you did the hair was my favorite part. Caught me by surprise.

MikeDunnAuthor, to books
@MikeDunnAuthor@kolektiva.social avatar

Today in Labor History June 5, 1919: Richard Scarry was born. Scarry wrote and illustrated humorous children’s books with elaborate scenes of anthropomorphized animals. Some of his recurring characters were Lowly Worm, Huckle Cat, Mistress Mouse the tow truck driver, Wild Bill Hiccup, Gold Bug and Dingo the reckless driver. His fictional world, Busy Town, is characterized by a strong sense of community and mutual aid. Over the years, he revised his stories in an attempt to eliminate racial and gender stereotypes.

@MikeDunnAuthor Good on him trying to make his work less problematic and harmful.

@stooovie Dope. I'll add it to Alternativeto.net tomorrow (or so).
edit: If anybody knows off the top what softwares it's an alternative to, do tell. Will save me time later. >.>

You almost talked me into finally playing it. 🤔
It'll stay backlogged for awhile longer, though.

Thanks for reminding me of the game that was never finished. -_-

Voxel Quest is (let's be honest!) probably more of a research project than a game. It is an attempt to explore new areas in rendering, procedural generation, simulation, and AI. At this point, it is entirely free and I work on it as a hobby in my spare time. -https://www.voxelquest.com

This one looks like fun, though. I'll add it to the backlog.

RatsAmassing, to JRPGs

What JRPGs are people playing right now? Currently it's Xenosaga 2

QuestioningEspecialy,

@RatsAmassing None, but I did play up to the (final) boss of Xenosaga 1 over a decade ago. Couldn't beat the fucko. T-T
Really enjoyed the game and characters, though. It's been on my (ever growing) list for the longest.

How's the second game? I've heard it's... an awful experience, so I plan to just watch a recap or something. >.>
