I would argue that the centre-right party is the democrats. They are more in line with a European centre-right party. We have no true leftist party due to the 2 party system.

Mainly as a search engine replacement, finding docs or information without getting terrible search results. Also for recipes, it’s really good at recipes.
GPT 4 though, 3.5 is about as sharp as a bag of wet mice.
Ok, not defending the record and streaming companies but this is nothing new. In the past if you bought an album the artist would see around 1.50$. At an average of 13 tracks on an album you would have to listen to the full album 133 times to equal 3$. That would be close to the band getting 1.50 depending on their contract. This math makes a lot of assumptions about royalties that are varied and complex but I listen to many albums more than that on streaming.
Bands never made tons of money off record sales, there are lots of better ways to support bands you like. Royalties are often paid to the band in merch, so buy a CD or vinyl directly from the band. Same for anything they sell directly at concerts or on their site.
That said I would love to see better shares for the artists, but it’s unlikely going to get better because screwing artists goes back decades.
The 33-year-old Watts, who had not shared the news of her pregnancy even with her family, made her first prenatal visit to a doctor’s office behind Mercy Health-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Warren, a working-class city about 60 miles (100 kilometers) southeast of Cleveland....
Because in a country with racism in many areas it is always a part of the topic. The medical system already has issues with treatment of black patients. And law enforcement has severe known bias.
Not saying that is the case here but it is often a part of the story.
I find it very accurate for cooking related tasks. I find it to be 90-95% on even the wildest recipes. And developing flavour profiles is something it’s also very good at.
I know that’s not a huge thing for most people but recipe sites are so terrible and flooded with trash I appreciate the time saved. I bring this up because the article suggests it should only be used as a starting point.
I remember it getting bought out. The older teas had about 5 ingredients on the label. Overnight they doubled or tripled. Of course we needed all those chemicals because they were cheaper than just making a good tea.

Opium production in Afghanistan has plummeted since the Taliban banned cultivation of the poppy plant, according to a UN report published on Sunday....
We never stopped it for a reason during all the time the US was there. You need to establish an alternative income for the farmers. They grow poppy because it feeds their families. Ironically the big profits were only seen by the Taliban and not the actual farmers.
Now the farmers can’t just switch to almonds or other high value crops instantly so they will go broke. And many of the US attempts to fund the transition away from poppies were corrupted by Afghan government, making farmers move back to poppies.
I own a Vitamix, a Zojirushi rice cooker, and a Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme. I also own the instant pot max, and an air fryer by Sur la table. Between these appliances they help me make 90% of my food at home. The food is relatively easy, especially once you get the hang of the recipes, and they taste incredible!...
Ok, Vitamix I can agree with, solid product and the choice of most restaurants.
High end rice cooker is worth it if you actually plan on using the features. Timers for rice and oatmeal can be convient. If you don’t need that get a cheap one.
Bread maker, don’t waste your money. 95% of people it will just sit in the closet. The bread is not going to be gourmet quality. Honestly if you want fresh bread buy a kitchen aid mixer and make it from scratch.
Instant pot, it can be convenient for speeding up cooking. If you’re using it for the occasional dried beans or tough meat it might be worth it. It can work as a crockpot, but if you don’t need pressure cooking just buy a crockpot.
Air fryer, honestly only use this for junk food. It’s not something that will elevate your cooking. You can get an instant pot that does crockpot and air fryer if you really want one.
As others have stated, work on base techniques and not gadgets. Outside of a stand mixer and a good blender none of these tools are very useful for most people. Buy the tool that helps you cook, don’t buy the tool and find an excuse to use it.
Putin told reporters in Kyrgyzstan that the notion was "complete rubbish" and said he did not even know the pipeline existed. He also suggested the damage could have been caused by an earthquake.
Privacy is always a trade off. You have to find a sweet spot that fits your convenience and willingness to share.
A good example is home automation. I can get a camera from someone like Nest and it’s cheap, feature packed and simple to use. But it’s going to harvest all your data and videos.
Instead I could go with Logitech and Apple. Now the price is 4x higher but the videos only exist on my Apple cloud. This is more secure but still could have security concerns, and increased costs and effort.
Lastly I could go with something like ubiquity. Another drastic increase in cost, with less features for remote access. But you host your videos locally and are in complete control. This option is by far the most complex to set up as well.
None of these are inherently bad if you understand the trade off. I am accomplished in tech and I choose the middle option because it best fit my lifestyle even though I could have went with the last option.
