Ok I was being pretty facetious, I don't love it either - but I don't think our country can be saved at this point. Is there such a thing as a functional American government? I've been around seven decades now, and I have yet to see it.
I love watching their in-fighting and emasculating downvoting of each other. Of course, there are so many low cards in that hand - there's none among them really fit to hold office, let alone be considered real human beings. This war in the middle east has been going on as long as I've been around, for 64 years and beyond that. It's not ever going to stop. The only solution to any of this is the most easy and yet frightening one -total annihilation of every human on earth. Yet that's what MUST happen if the earth is ever going to be a place of peace.
And it's like trying to hold back the ocean with a toothpick, telling people they can't be gay or Muslim or anything else. As with most right-wing oppression, it's an aspiration that is abusive, unrealistic and asinine in every way.

All I'm trying to do is learn more about trans people - why is that a crime, and why is that not something people are OK with. My view is, if you want support, you need to be open to letting people learn about who you are.
But how can they be "the wrong ones." There are no "wrong" sexy bits on human animals, anywhere. Same-sex attraction is every bit as natural as any other sexual attraction. It doesn't require changing your sex organs to something which matches a stereotyped idea of what men or women are or should have "down there."

History has shown the opposite - that homosexuality in fact has a very supportive effect on family values and the family unit. Most gay men are fathers in some way, some with prior wives, some from adoption. They are in fact the most loving and caring and educated of parents. So there is no argument about homosexuality being "wrong" that actually holds up to scrutiny. I'd much rather have trans kids running around than a kid who has conservative values and bigoted ideas that are based in utter nonsense. Homosexuality IS normal, and only complete idiots choose to think otherwise.

The truth is, disallowing kids access to their trans or LGBTQ selves is the most cruel form of child abuse possible. Here in Utah where book banning is growing by the day (and they're all books with LGBTQ themes or characters) - I see how kids are growing up brain dead with braces on their brains because of the horrific result of not having representation available to them.
