msquebanh, #Pudina #Chutney aka #Indian #MintChutney. A #spicy & tangy chutney that pairs well with pakoras, kebabs & naan flatbreads. Good as sandwich spread too🥪
Pudina means mint leaves in Indian.
This traditional chutney side dish is #nutritious & aids in #digestion. This is the #SouthIndian version. North India has different version.#IndianFoods #SouthEastAsianFood #TootSEA #AsianDiaspora #EthnicEats #CulturalFood #TraditionalFood #FoodCulture #POCfoods #GlobalSouth #Food #Minty #CookingWithMint

nm, @markwyner I want Trader Joes 😔 🇨🇦
markwyner, @nm they have a lot of good stuff. But you have to be careful with their labels. They sell a lot of stuff that isn’t even vegetarian that you think would be. Like “why is there even a need to be animals as in there” kind of thing.
dnc, Anyone use this Hot Crispy Oil before? Any recs to use it? https://www.diningandcooking.com/1090756/anyone-use-this-hot-crispy-oil-before-any-recs-to-use-it/
4d3fect, @dnc We have a different brand. Experimenting with it as a sub for sambal, which we use frequently for condiments. This might be better for cooking/stirfrying than sambal, as it's got a lot of oil and a nice texture.

jeni, Jalapeños! #spicy #gardening
jeni, @pcambra What Italian peppers are you growing? I've been thinking about what to grow next year.
pcambra, @jeni we call this Italian peppers here, we got 6 plants and it was a huge mistake, we have just too many peppers.

notveryhandsome, @dnc
I am pretty sure that I have had that chicken. You could ask for hot, but there were some higher levels than hot, so I thought it was safe. I will say it was more than tangy. The chicken was great. But I thought disposable gloves would have helped save my finger tips from staining hot.
dnc, my grocery store used to have a really decent hot sauce selection. now it’s being taken over by wing sauce. anyone else experience this? https://www.diningandcooking.com/860412/my-grocery-store-used-to-have-a-really-decent-hot-sauce-selection-now-its-being-taken-over-by-wing-sauce-anyone-else-experience-this/
Bette, Yes, ours, too. I think wings are one of the most egregious marketing ploys ever.
Food seller: We have all these damn almost meatless chicken bones. What can we do with them?
Marketer: Feature them! Cook them in Burn-Your-Face-Off hot sauce and tell people they're the hottest thing going. You can call them Hot Wings!
FS: I don't know ...
M: It's brilliant! Trust me, people will go apeshit over them! I can see whole franchises springing up ...
FS: Well, okay ...
Cyrus, @dnc the red chile crop in North America was ruined by bad weather. All sauce brands that used red chiles from here are struggling.
Dadlyambitions,
