@molly0xfff as the Ex-Head of Digital Transformation at Daimler AG (the former umbrella company of Mercedes-Benz) I left a LinkedIn comment when the external agency announced this NFT project last year: "When the ruthless meet the clueless!"
This company invents so many amazing platforms and technologies but the marketing department just has no digital heritage and way too much budget for BS like this
@molly0xfff the first thing you do when somebody uses the dashboard of the car to show you their NFTs is to scream.
Then get out of the car (don't wait for it to stop either)
I know people joke a lot about uninformed VPs and CEOs making ‘hand wavy’ decisions about things but this clearly looks like someone saying “we need to add NFTs” without any real details or understanding
@molly0xfff encouraging luxury automobile drivers to gaze lovingly at their collection of fucked up monkey drawings is exactly the shot in the arm American road safety needs
@saagar@molly0xfff Wow, this shows how long a product cycle can be. By the time the feature is out the trend is already dead more than a year. It also shows nobody had the power to stop a clearly terrible feature from seeing the light of day. Does it have a DVD player?
