« … ensure the unimpeded access to the Gaza Strip of any commission of inquiry, fact finding mission, or other investigative body mandated by competent organs of the UN to investigate allegations of genocide… »
« … immediately halt its military offensive, and any other action in the Rafah Governorate, which may inflict on the Palestinian group in Gaza conditions of life that could bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part… »
There's hope for a halt to the war in Gaza, but Netanyahu likely won't comply. The US may side with him. Most countries are supportive a #ceasefire.
"The ICJ rules that Israel must halt its military offensive in Rafah in southern Gaza. South Africa had asked the ICJ to order it as an emergency measure, saying Israel’s actions in Rafah amount to a “genocidal” operation & threaten the survival of the Palestinian people."
‘We’re joined now by Dr. Adam Hamawy. He’s a plastic surgeon, Army veteran from New Jersey, who just left Gaza, where he took part in a volunteer mission with the Palestinian American Medical Association.’
“I worked with doctors who had fled other hospitals, like I said. They were targeted. I’ve talked to doctors and nurses who were taken as prisoners, interrogated and tortured”
“His family lived in Rafah. They were given an evacuation order. And they went to one of the designated zones of safety, which was along the shore — basically, a desert. It’s got sand everywhere. It has no water. It has no electricity. It has no food and no shelter.”
“So, when they’re taking care of the patients, they’re taking care of their families, they’re taking care of their neighbors, and they expect to be taken care of the same way when they get hurt, as well. And so, they are faced with this choice that, you know, is undescribable.”

@appassionato They SHOULD BE demanding an immediate #ceasefire, but these are most likely #Zionists supporters. Someone needs to tell them the #IDF bombings killed a number of them and #Hamas claims they've lost contact with at least one unit guarding the prisoners in #Gaza (via telegram, a day or two ago). They all can be presumed killed by Israeli forces too. @palestine
“We hope other countries will recognize the Palestinian state as Spain did recently & Norway & Ireland. We have the right to live like other countries, to have a state & to live in freedom like other countries in the world”
“It’s a very good day for Ireland that we finally stopped the rhetoric and took the first step in a series of actions that I believe must be taken. And that first step is to recognize the State of Palestine.”
“I’d prefer not to respond to the Israeli ambassador, because she’s had access to our airwaves for a very long time, and she’s failed to learn anything. But what I would say is, this is not a prize for terrorism. This is a step for peace.”
“And we should continue now as a country to use our unique position as one of the few neutral countries left in the world to be a voice for peace, so that Israelis and Palestinians can live and let each other live.”
“So live is the memory (of famine) for us. It has come down through the generations. And, of course, we had two guest speakers, and one of them was from Palestine. And we were actually all reduced to tears as we listened to her tell factually what was happening in Gaza“
« … the reason there's no end game, the reason they're not talking about how they're going to administer a Palestinian dominated Gaza, is because they want the Palestinians out… »
Dr. Hussam Abu Safia: “What happened a short while ago — and we never imagined that one day we would be targeted directly — the emergency department was targeted by more than three missiles.”
War criminals & genocidal regimes criticise ‘a move by Ireland, Norway & Spain to recognize Palestine as an independent state on May 28, bringing the total number of countries recognizing Palestine to 146’ 🇮🇪🇳🇴🇪🇸🇵🇸
It's probably best not to trust any Israeli voices on the state of things in #Israel or #Gaza. Even this Israeli "scholar," who admits that Israelis are almost unanimously pro-genocide, is pushing the "sexual violence" lie about Oct. 7.
