Just came back from watching Ghost in the Shell in IMAX. I still love the movie after all these years, and being able to watch it on the big screen (originally I watched it more then a dozen times from the VHS tape we had at home) has been such a treat 🥰
@krisfreedain Now that you mention it (or gif reference it) it is weird how there is no asynchronous workplace communication in the #GhostInTheShell universe. People are always talking directly into other people's brains in real time. Slack would actually be an improvement.
Finished both series' of #GhostInTheShell Stand Alone Complex, and absolutely loved it from start to finish. Been a fan of cyberpunk fiction since the 1980s so no idea why I've never watched any GitS before now
The Tachikomas are the real stars of the show, and Kusanagi is definitely amongst the coolest protags there has ever been

I care about economic #equity very much, and my vision for the future would be something like cybernetic communism. I would love to know more thinkers and activists having radical ideas on building societies!
