I suddenly remembered that old grunge canvas I built forever ago. It‘s still super fun to draw on it and get messy!
I want to draw a whole story with it some time, but it‘s probably not going to be a fun one.

Thirty years ago tonight, recorded the performance that would become inseparable from their posthumous legend — and it’s still hard to listen to all the way through https://www.theringer.com/music/2018/11/14/18087878/nirvana-unplugged-oral-history-kurt-cobain

I saw Soundgarden a few times. Good times. A lot of the grunge acts didn't seem to leave USA that much, at least not for UK.

Good morning !

I hope your weekend is going alright. I'm nostalgia listening to grunge this morning

Grunge produced some great tracks, not just for the 'dirty' sound but adventure in the mixes, eg the way drums & bass drive so much of this track in a non-rock-standard way for the time. So not just as backing support to guitars & vocals focus.

Wish Pearl Jam played more UK gigs.

This is more like it. I often forget that Hole wasn't an all-female band. Guitarist Eric Erlandson founded the band with Courtney Love and co-wrote many of the songs with her. But there's no question that Courtney is the star here, and the RiotGrrrl attitude is all over the first two albums (this and the excellent Live Through This).
