#US / Ultranationalists blame Biden for October 7th attack on Israel

Apparently, the Gaza mess isn't enough. US ultranationalists Pense and Pompeo want to start another war, asap.

Mike Pence and former Secretary of State Pompeo, demand the US to abandon diplomacy and return to the "maximum pressure" strategy of the #Trump administration against #Iran, suggesting military strikes on high-value Iranian targets are necessary to deter further aggression.

[...] The result of this appeasement is war, beginning Oct. 7 with #Hamas’s atrocities against #Israel. In the four months since, the Biden administration has continued to resort to appeasement by declining to respond forcefully to Iran’s escalation and attacks."

GOING ALL-IN FOR MAY MAKE COMPLICIT IN

Human rights lawyers warned Biden that his unconditional support for the war on may implicate the U.S. in Israel’s crimes.
“U.S. officials can be held responsible for their failure to prevent Israel’s unfolding genocide, as well as for their complicity, by encouraging it and materially supporting it.”

It’s increasingly clear that it was not a hospital that was hit in but a hospital parking lot… that the death toll was likely in the dozens not the hundreds & that the culprit was not the but a faulty rocket fired by (another funded terrorist group in ) knew this very quickly & worked very quickly to disseminate the to blame narrative.

As w/ bogus WMDs & the is complicit again —this time possiblely for triggering WWIII.

Any news organization that reports the news about endorsing an inquiry without CLEARLY and AT THE TOP stating that there is no meaningful reason for such an inquiry is doing journalism wrong. Too many orgs already jumping into the gamesmanship.

Thirty-five years ago today—16 March 1988—Saddam Hussein’s regime in @iraq dropped chemical bombs on the town of , murdering thousands. In honor of the dead and the survivors, I’d like to briefly explore the history of a half-baked claim about the “real” culprits behind this horrific attack on : namely, the idea that didn’t do it.

But, never to be outdone in its trash Iraq takes, the New York Times opinion page gave column space in January 2003 to a former analyst (!), Stephen Pelletiere, to prop up the undead “Iran did Halabja, actually” claim as a purported case against the : https://www.nytimes.com/2003/01/31/opinion/a-war-crime-or-an-act-of-war.html

A screencap of the conclusion of the Pelletiere piece. Among the comments he makes, he says “If [the Bush administration] has other examples of Saddam gassing Kurds, it must show they were not pro-Iranian Kurdish guerrillas who died fighting alongside Iranian Revolutionary Guards.”
