"The disciplinary panel of the D.C. Bar reached a preliminary conclusion that former Trump Justice Department official #JeffreyClark committed an ethical violation when he pushed conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election."
“To use the authority of the Dept of #Justice to overturn the election, based on a #lie, w/ no concerns that the dept had no evidence of fraud that affected the election — & Mr. Clark didn’t have any evidence either — what Mr. Clark was attempting to do was essentially a #coup at the #DOJ,” said Hamilton P. ‘Phil’ Fox III, lead prosecuting atty for the DC Bar’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel.
Fox was addressing an investigatory panel of #lawyers that eventually will decide whether #JeffreyClark, who was appointed as an asst AG by Trump in 2017, should face professional #discipline, including possibly being stripped of his #LawLicense in DC. The proceeding is expected to last into next wk.
Fox told the 3-member panel that Clark… repeatedly violated department #ethics when he tried to help #Trump overturn #Georgia’s presidential election results & undo Joe #Biden’s victory….
Clark also alleges that #NathanWade "obviously lied" (eh hem, mr. attorney, you require strong corroborating proof to establish perjury not just an “obviously”) under oath.
See screenshot of how "stupidly wrong" Jeffrey Clark is.

Indicted lawyer #JeffreyClark found fault with my segment about Trump wanting to close down #MSNBC & every point Defendant Clark makes is just as stupidly wrong as Trump. Clark doesn’t just misunderstand law & the 1st Amendment, he actually doesn’t know what words mean.
Although #Trump is a pathological liar, I don't think he's lying when he threatens to sic the #DOJ against his perceived enemies. He already tried it with #JeffSessions, #BillBarr and #JeffreyClark. He'll succeed next time. Count on it.
Trump and allies have begun mapping out specific plans for using the federal gov’t to punish critics…should he win a 2nd term, w/ tfg naming individuals he wants to investigate or prosecute and his associates drafting plans to potentially invoke the Insurrection Act on his first day in office to allow him to deploy the military against civil demonstrations. #JeffreyClark
