@DemocracyMattersALot The "Republican" proposal to slash IRS funding alone constitutes a corrupt act & underlying bribery by the "GOP's" richest donors, to the disadvantage of low- & medium-income Americans.
Connecting that proposal with the alternative to stop aid to Israel is an act of illoyalty & corruption in favor of America's richest tax evaders, which can hardly be outperformed.
@Ann1944 Funded by America's richest tax dodgers, Mike Johnson & his congressional "Republican" co-conspirators corruptly approve a bill to cut off low- & medium-income taxpayers' balls by slashing IRS funding!
@marcelias Most of today's "GOP" is an anti-constitutional, un-American, anti-American lawless entity & national security threat, puppeteered by Putin to weaken America.
“New details of how an American president and an Australian billionaire bonded over their mutual self-interest help to document the transactional ethos of the Trump presidency, and show how Mr. Trump melded his White House with his personal business in a way that, according to prosecutors, had ramifications for national security.” https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/22/us/politics/anthony-pratt-donald-trump.html
@w7voa Trump's profoundly corrupt, criminal, fraudulent & illoyal nature, besides his enormous debts, that are potentially making him blackmailable are only some issues disqualifying him for any public office of government, posing a national security risk.
Not to mention dozens of boxes containing federal property belonging into NARA custody, that he stole for potentially traitorous purposes - here his debts a coming back onto the field...
@flexghost Americans must not pay the price for "Republican" chaos & incapability to act, sabotaging congressional legislation & national defense & security for the benefit of Russia's Putin & China's Xi.
Anyone else get the feeling that Jared Kushner’s Middle East Peace mission was a criminal scheme that involved selling his position, secret intel and himself to hostile foreign actors for money to help settle his debts?
I don’t think Kushner gave a rat’s ass about peace, do you?
#House Passes Short-Term Bill To Avoid Government #Shutdown With Hours To Spare; #Ukraine Money Cut
#House#Republicans, after a week, found a bipartisan path jettisoning aid to Ukraine in a move critics say will embolden Russian leader Vladimir #Putin.
The House voted 335 to 91 for a temporary funding bill to keep the government open until Nov. 17 and also fund disaster assistance. Two hundred and nine Democrats joined all 126 Republicans in voting for the package.
@GW Real Republicans would support the United States democratic Republic, not the adversarial Russian Federation & its imperialistic wars of aggression against sovereign, free countries.
Partisan politics without genuine American humanity-focused convictions testify to political & confessional (Christian) bankruptcy & the "GOP's" corruption & unworthiness for parliamentary seating.
“Cutting housing subsidies for the poor by 33 percent as soaring rents drive a national affordability crisis. Forcing more than 1 million women and children onto the waitlist of a nutritional assistance program for poor mothers with young children. Reducing federal spending on home heating assistance for low-income families by more than 70 percent with energy prices high heading into the winter months.”
@TonyStark Damn, do fake "Republicans" have no other fetish but to hate & hurt the weakest of society, like the insurrectionary Confederates used to do?
@SrRochardBunson Challenge the brazen PPP-loan freeloaders in their constituencies to keep them away from public offices they'll abse to loot their constituents.
@realTuckFrumper Persecuting & smearing the Biden family can't distract from the fact, that today's "Republicans" ain't Republicans, but an insurrectionary, election-rigging anti-constitutional criminal organization without any platform to help & serve any American except the richest 1% anti-American owners of American passports.

"As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war. God grant that my suspicions may prove groundless."
— Abraham Lincoln, co-founder of the Republican Party, in a letter to Col. William F. Elkins dated November 21, 1864 —
Today's "GOP" = "Republicans" in name only, a manifested insult to Lincoln's party.
At first glance, if it holds, it does appear to capture how a mature, shrewd President who's been to the rodeo more than once mostly held his own against a screaming drooling mob fumbling around with open cans of gasoline and cigarette lighters.
@TonyStark@wsrphoto President Biden's readiness to negotiate with the House's majority Insurrection Caucus was admittedly an an admirable act of kindness, even though not really necessary.
The federal debt ceiling "is an insult to good governance, and negotiating over it only encourages the most nihilistic and ruthless forces in government."
So, apparently the Texas legislature is trying to remove tenure from public universities in the State of Texas. While there are some problems with the ways in which institutions grant tenure, tenure is one of the main ways universities attract and retain good professors.
Even conservative educators are going to want tenure. But Texas Republicans don’t care about the people who live…in Texas.
