Trump is promising oil execs that he'll roll back dozens of Biden’s environmental protections.

In exchange he wants them to raise $1 billion for him.

Trump told the executives that $1 billion would be nothing compared to the money they’d make if he wins.

Ohio's Republican state legislators have voted to provide Renewable Energy Credits to a coal plant in case you aren't urging your friends to vote for Democrats enough already.

House Bill 264 would allow companies, specifically SunCoke, to claim RECs for finding a use for their waste heat in the plastics production process. The bill is written so narrowly it only applies to SunCoke’s facility.

Ohio's legislators are particularly corrupted by the fossil fuel industry and of course nuclear too.

The DOJ did what they were supposed to do in the stolen secret documents. Don't let the corruption of the Republicans succeed at undermining our trust in our institutions.

McConnell and Trump are responsible for that Loose Cannon being on the bench in the judicial district that covers Mar-a-Lago. Hopefully the DOJ will successfully surmount her obstruction of justice, but we shouldn't abandon the rule-of-law over their corruption of it.

Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova told reporters that if French President Emmanuel Macron sends troops to Ukraine, the Russians will consider them legitimate targets.

For those losing their heads over today's actions by Judge Cannon, take a deep breath. This was always going to happen. The writing has been on the wall since Judge Cannon was drawn for the case. Getting all worked up about it is only going to make you crazy and desperate. The way we will rid ourselves of this menace is at the polls in November.

Joe gets it from both sides more than any previous POTUS I recall.

"With this rule, President Biden is allowing federal bureaucrats to destroy our way of life," Senator John Barrasso said. He also vowed to repeal it using the Congressional Review Act.

I see a lot of idiots complaining about the police that were on top of buildings at campus protests.

FFS, we have a serious gun violence problem in the USA and sadly snipers may be able to help protect innocent people from the gun nuts sometimes. I think it's worthwhile to try to protect them personally anyways.

CIA Director Bill Burns was to travel from Cairo to Israel later on Wednesday to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli officials.

Of course everyone is going to push the narrative on a ceasefire that's best for their tribe though.

Joe Biden has done so much for the USA and the globe that it's a long list. Stopping Putin from lobbing nukes is great I hope we can agree on, but his efforts that have started the world's largest economy's transition away from fossil fuels has got to be his biggest achievement considering what an existential threat climate change is for sure.
