It is the holiday season and if you or someone you know is considering buying a pet for a child, please consider adoption. Shelters are overflowing with animals that need a loving forever home. But if you do consider adopting or buying a pet ask yourself: Who will take care of it? Will I have time to walk it, change the litter box, remember to feed this animal. Also, how big will that cute puppy get? Think about how your life will change before you get an animal.
Sometimes someone post a comment on something I may have posted or replied to. At times these replies may be hateful (pretty rare) at other times I don't agree with what they say. Instead of getting into a hateful match with this person I just keep scrolling. This is not that other place and I refuse to let anyone make it a bad experience for me. Be #Kind. #BeThoughtful

Since the dawn of mankind there has been hate filled violence. But it feels like since 2016 my world has spiraled out of control with all the cruelty that is being inflicted on everyone. My heart is struggling to find peace and beauty. #Mastodon has helped keep me going and not spiral down all the way to losing myself. Penso che non ci sia cosa peggiore, assurda, senza appello e ingiustificabile, di una ciclabile che finisce NEL NULLA
Tanto più grave visto che basterebbe uno sforzo minimo visto che i soldi sono stati già trovati e stanziati, per terminarla
Io comincio a pensare che invece sia proprio la gente del posto che non voglia queste cose, che insomma siano viste come una cosa inutile, o fissazioni verdi al caviale, invece che un gigantesco vantaggio competitivo
