Hello, time for an updated #Introduction - I'm Mark, I grew up in a very small rural #Georgia town. Up until Spring of 2022 I had been handling my Mom's dementia care full time. She finally hit a point I couldn't cope with everything that she needed, but I am fortunate that she is 400 feet from my front door in our local nursing home.
I spent six years on a degree in #Sociology and then two years on a Masters I didn't finish. Followed by a decade plus as a #ProjectManager in #Atlanta before getting burned out and taking what I thought was a career break to travel. Traveled a little and somehow ended up a #DigitalArtist and #Photographer for the next dozen years give or take. I share that aspect of my life over at @MarkOnArt

I am in my early 50's but I took the long path to accepting myself as #Queer - as in so recent that for some in my orbit this is still breaking news. As I've mentioned in my blog, there's no light switch. I have more to go understanding myself but I'm a hell of a lot closer than I ever was before. And one of the things I've loved about being part of the community here has been the opportunity to make friends who are part of the #LGBTQ community. I love the #Jira ticketing system and the Agile/Scrum methodology in general. I've worked for years and even decades in waterfall environments, and agile just suits my non-linear brain better.
I wonder if #ContentMarketing teams use Jira or have Agile methodologies.
