I can confidently diagnose as sociopaths.

Promised therapy customers privacy...then gave their mental health info to advertisers.

Victims get less than ten bucks each.

Company made billion+ in revenue last year alone.

In a just society with good privacy laws, they'd face existential civil & criminal consequences.

「 The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is proposing a $7 million fine against Cerebral, a mental telehealth firm that it says not only was careless with patients’ data but actively shared it with third parties for advertising purposes. The company and its CEO, Kyle Robertson, are also accused of lying to customers about how their data is shared and of having a misleading cancellation policy 」

People don't bitch about enough. Seriously. What are you afraid of?

I've been on it since I was a youngster. It has become next to impossible to get the Rx filled these days. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I have an accredited doctor who I happen to convene with via Telehealth. She's part of my whole clinical network/ insurance company, .

refuses to fill the script because it's a Dr.

This comes as a surprise because
1.) I've had the Rx filed by Walmart off-and-on over the past 20 years or so.
2.) I had no issues with / no idea that this was "a thing"

Now closer to a WM pharm vs the prev CVS, it made sense to have this month sent here
(Adderall patients are forced through this rigmarole every 30 days).

Why don't more people bitch? Haven't you been affected?

I can see the wisdom in using a 24 hour video calling service to triage people, rather than having them turn up to an emergency department or 24 clinic and wait, potentially for hours. But a "" triage service for public hospitals ought to be run as an integrated part of the public health service. The only part that should ever be outsourced is the digital infrastructure component, not the medical service itself, and arguably not even that.
