But in tthe case of :ssl.hmac(...):ddr_r:`:ssl.mac(:hmac, ...), they are completely embarrassingly retarded. It's not like changing an icon color, it's not like renaming a form field, it's an API: this is the kind of shit you do not without a good reason, and if it's the same shit but they renamed it, they didn't have a reason.
