A little experiment creating tiling meshes and wrapping them to other meshes UVs... As soon as we are able to set custom normals from geometry nodes expect a lot more from this!

I'll maybe create a tutorial, but it's a simple Newton formula encoded in math nodes. The "hard" part was to create the repeat zone.

Refactored some parts of my möbius loop project.

I used some horrible diy nodegroups to blur attributes, since it was not possible in 3.0.

I´m now using the blur attributes node to define how far bridges can extend :).

Works really nice, the setup i had before was very complex and slow. You can see it at second 24.

evening project: a point cloud galaxy generator in . This is around 1.5 million points total, rendered in under a minute.
The key to getting the different colors and opacities was to layer different "galaxies" together, each with a different material applied.
@gleb you might enjoy this.
