also love #comics especially #webcomics and #satire . Not really into superhero type comics, unless they're the newer ones like the "New 52". I prefer self-contained series with a little bit of weirdness to them like Saga, Rat Queens, and a bunch others I can't remember the names of right now. Often I'll go to the library and check out a fat stack of whatever comics they have, mostly standalones though since they rarely have multiple comic books in a series available in sequential order.

Of course, I'm still nervous about someone I know irl who would freak out about me being a topless equality activist happening to find me there, and having some kind of fallout over it (probably shit with my kids' school where I got guilt-tripped into becoming a PTA officer), but I feel like it's important enough to risk it. The problem is finding femme-presenting people willing to risk ostracization, losing jobs, or just not wanting their bodies posted to porn sites to take part 😅

Like it says in the post, it's okay if you're masc-presenting, I'm just hoping to not be the only/one of the only femme-presenting topless people there, as it would fail to make the point about gender-equal anti-censorship.

I think your vulnerability is where your strength lies. The more vulnerable I feel, the more I realize what can hurt me, therefore, the more I know myself the more I develop tools to protect myself in a healthy way.
Oh god, one of the large creators I admire that I emailed to ask if they mind if I shout out their channel in one of my #freeTheNipple vlogs (because they might not want to risk losing sponsors by being mentioned in the same video as "maybe every gender should have the right to go Topless in public and online, not just men") actually responded... Currently answering emails scheduling recording times for future interviewees (all sex workers and nudists because those are the only ones I can find who are willing to be on camera with a #freeTheNipple activist like me... see previous rant -_- ) and I'm asking/reminding them all to have earbuds or headphones on hand, and to have all devices charged and ready.
You wouldn't believe how many past interviewees "forgot to charge their phone" and/or "don't have any headphones" so it increases the time it takes me to edit the interview tenfold as I'm trying to cut out every time my end of the interview echoes through their speakers 🙃
