So, here is my semi-regular update on the home office setup.

Note the addition of a KVM, which allows me to switch from a laptop to my desktop at a click of a button. And the new lamp.

What does your workspace look like? What are some workspace hacks or cool things to make your workspace better? 🤔

Ab und an Räume ich mal meine Schreibtische auf. Das Problem ist nur, danach traue ich mich immer nicht, irgendwas zu basteln. Man will es ja nicht direkt wieder unordentlich haben. Wie sieht eure Bastelecke aus?

I recently swapped from Google's browser (over and concerns) on desktop and mobile to the browser. So far, so good. And Vivaldi plays well with Google Docs. Battery on mobile seems to be lasting longer too. I still haven't tried out Vivaldi's feature.

Google's Duet AI tools for Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Meet, etc.) is here as a 14-day free trial. It'll cost big businesses $30 per month per user. Prices for consumers and for small and medium-sized businesses will be revealed in coming months, Google says.

A short drive for Curiosity rover provides the science team with another set of potential rock targets in the rover's robotic arm workspace. The mosaic is assembled from 6 overlapping mast camera images from sol 3928 (August 25, 2023). For scale the scene is approximately 2 meters across.

The drive data is also attached, and a montage of screen captures from the MSL mission traverse map.

New Google Workspace account: are shared drives limited? Italian

As the title says, I would like to open a new google workspace account (the one with shared drives) to store/backup around 30TB of data, but I'm reading of people that are getting emails that say the account will be limited to 5tb, including shared drives, and if you want unlimited shared drives again you have to buy at least 5...

The new feature of is very useful for me. Now I can have a workspace containing tabs that are work-related, and other tabs for... 'non-work'? Yes. Non-work 😇

Anyway, that makes sharing my screen with my co-workers a lot easier since I don't have to worry about them seeing my non-work tabs.

One though @Vivaldi : it would be nice to assign to workspaces. So I don't have to worry about my co-workers seeing my non-work bookmarks as suggestions 😆
