Having heard testimony from several witnesses about what a cheapskate trump is, how he squeezes every penny, blah blah, I'm quite surprised he hasn't asked Putin to send him some Russian uniforms to wear. trump would want to be a general, no doubt, but Putin wouldn't care. It's not like anyone would understand his orders if he gave any. And he'd save a bundle not buying those ugly plus size suits any more.

Part of the problem may be that he doesn't see well- could help explain problems with teleprompter-and his people are afraid to tell him how bizarre he looks.

Anyone who thinks trump would handle the crisis better or that they are sending a message by not voting is sadly deluded. Trump's son in law already has said Israel should "finish the job" so he can get on with development of waterfront property in Gaza.
@maddad I feel that way as well. Old school Democrats have supported Israel's brutal apartheid system since its founding. I am a lifelong Democrat who has always disagreed with US Israel policy. Even as a child I was aware of the cruelty and injustice. I guess I was hoping against hope that Biden would be different, but here we are. ๐

@GottaLaff I've felt for years that these so called "debates" are spectacles with no real value to the electorate. There have not been real debates for decades.
I was against Biden appearing in this kind of fiasco, but realize that he was under great pressure to do so. Trump will attempt to humiliate Biden, but Biden is by far the better man and he has the upper hand.
It's still possible that Trump will find an excuse to back out.
I suggest people read to the end before making judgements and will warn it discusses suicide. Donโt read it if thatโs a trigger for you.
This is not meant to open up attacks on Joe Biden. He and his administration must do better. But tragedies like this can be better avoided if we donโt let Republicans into office who destroy our programs. Once theyโre gone, theyโre hard to rebuild. Think about it.

difficult even with strong community support. Without support there are tragedies like this one.

It took over100 years for women to get the vote in the US, and we are still fighting for autonomy and equal rights. The US Civil Rights movement has its roots in slave rebellions that began in the 17th century. It still has not achieved its goals. The pace of justice and the fight for freedom is much slower than many acknowledge. People suffered and died to get us where we are now. Never give up!
