    @Teri_Kanefield Knowing that there is oversight and they will land on her like a cheap roof, might help. Also, seeing the level of evidence against him, the last thing she wants is to hitch her wagon to that falling star. Imagine, trying to cover up for the biggest criminal ever to hit a courtroom? Her career w/be over and her name a stain unwashed for 100 years.

    @Teri_Kanefield Thing is, if she did that, it wouldn’t clear his name. Everyone would know that he had to cheat to get out of it and she was the cheat. He thinks he can clear his name by having a trial. Or at least fund raise off of it.

    @shoq Funny that. When Katrina was sinking New Orleans and surrounding areas, they never referred to W’s failures. They only praised him with the exception of AC who, after wading through it for a week, fact-checked the admin in real time, ONCE. But no one ever referred to Katrina as W’s downfall. Yet, it is the iconic mascot of failure of leadership since. Everyone stained by ‘their Katrina’, except the guy who failed it most and worst.

    @edbott Integrity used to be an important part of a person’s career. Credibility rested on integrity. Neither is needed these days. Be wrong, Be Obtuse, Be off the rails… Be Controversial. Yeah, that’s the ticket, be controversial and that’s how we sell the garbage you put out! The NYT is almost all “Controversial” staff/contributors/editors now. The circus is in town and only the clowns count. The circus will not leave. We have to throw them out.

    @Karoli It plays on our wanting to be ‘entertained’ by watching a cage match between an evil man and his monster. However, the downside is that we would not be happy if either of them won. Besides, almost every move has a psyops taste to it anyway, so I wonder what’s really cooking if this is what they are putting on display. Will journos look for it? Or is this the latest squirrel they’ll chase, hour after hour…?

    This anchor was submerged on their property. If anyone knows a marine antiquities expert, I have a hunch this sucker is very very very old. It looks to me as if it was a sand casted from a pattern made from a tree limbs. I'm guessing it's at least 250 years old, maybe much more.

    @shoq I’d put the odds a bit better than that. A lot of the control he had over those in that circle of his was because they were afraid he’d sic the “Chef” on them. They’ll stick w/Putty if they’re more afraid of The Chef; but I think if they are sick of being ordered around by Putin, they’ll do nothing to protect him from his own monster.
