Sometimes the way people phrase things is so telling. For instance, telling women they should be "taking care of" their husband and children. Another adult doesn't need taken care of like a child, what you want is for women to be a Sex Mom.

@elverkonge @RickiTarr I had a boyfriend I moved in with tell me I needed to get up at 3 am to make him breakfast. I laughed, heartedly, & said, โ€œPut a toaster next to the bed with a pop tart in it & Iโ€™ll push the lever down when your alarm goes offโ€ thatโ€™s the extent Iโ€™m making your breakfast at 3 am when youโ€™re perfectly capable. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ People have some audacity, man.

@pluralistic and Americans will fight for this death care system tooth & nail! My state insurance is far better than many peopleโ€™s private insurance, but the propaganda has them so scared. Tying health care to your job is part of americas slave labor mindset.

About half of all voters would replace both candidates on the ballot.

62% of Biden-supporting voters would replace Biden.

Voters have little confidence in either Trump or Biden, including re fitness for office, personal ethics & respect for democratic values.

@DrALJONES I say itโ€™s from the past because there is no way these candidates are being replaced. Itโ€™s done. Asking about replacing them is asking about something from the past. There is ZERO possibility of either being replaced. People answering are answering fantasy proposals. Iโ€™m not saying itโ€™s nonsense for people who like polls to ponder whimsically. Have at it. Thatโ€™s why my OG comment was off the cuff about polls in general. I didnโ€™t take it as a serious poll

@DrALJONES No. Thatโ€™s not it at all. I donโ€™t think hypothetical polls give realistic feedback. I always think in context, unless Iโ€™m not given the context. Yeah, Biden sucks. We all know many people wanted a different option. Trump sucks way more. We all know many people wanted a different option. Trying to determine how many people exactly, when itโ€™s irrelevant makes this poll nonsense to me.

Mostly because I donโ€™t trust politics, or what people say to pollsters about their own. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Like this poll is nonsense to me. And, I mentioned Russia & Chinese interference, because they are in abundant addition to our own.

Ffs, why are you so troubled that I donโ€™t think THIS poll is useful. Itโ€™s okay for people to not like something. I donโ€™t trust politics polls. Who cares?

@DrALJONES during the 2016 election I watched Sanders polling higher than Biden & level with Clinton, then the MSM stopped showing him in the polls entirely. I had been raised against the corruption of politics, and watching the blatant manipulation & interference reinforced that upbringing. I will never trust a poll. With Russia & China playing games here, who would?

Why are we not enforcing the gag order?

Known liar Mike Johnson, Byron Donalds, Cory Mills, Doug Burgum & Vivek Ramaswamy hang around lower Manhattan to be trumps gag order gangsters.

Gag order prohibits trump from making comments about jurors / witnesses and also from causing others to make comments about the case, jury or court staff.

CA is really stupid. Itโ€™s dumping money into shelters that are abysmal & not a stepping stone to housing for people who want it. Many of those homeless donโ€™t WANT to be housed, yet, thatโ€™s where they sink $$. Cause those are the homeless people complain about. But they take away programs that can help people that are trying desperately to be housed. My city only had a โ€œsafe parkingโ€ program for a few winter months. Now the only 1 in the county is exclusive to 1 townโ€™s pop. Criminalized poverty ๐Ÿ˜ก

@pvonhellermannn My grampa was 1 of the Hollywood 10, blacklisted & jailed. It caused generational trauma that is still being felt. Many people donโ€™t know how badly corrupt & illegal what the government did then was, in the name of propaganda, that is coming to fruition today.

This is crazy. Even with 20% down, thatโ€™s still $4500 a month. And exclusive of property taxโ€”around $1000 a month?โ€”or any HOA fee. And insurance is becoming prohibitively expensive as a lot of the big players either pull out of California altogether or severely restrict what theyโ€™ll cover.

@paninid @Holberg I have no issues at all with helping addicts & mentally ill homeless. My dad is one of them. I just know, from experience, that trying to force them into shelters is a waste of $ & ONLY helping them & refusing to help families (with children) that do want/need to be housed, is opposite of helpful. Iโ€™m a disabled single mom that just tried to get homeless prevention assistance & was told by all agencies that they can ONLY help addicts & mentally ill.

@paninid @Holberg Itโ€™s very bad. And our governor just stripped the homeless prevention program & CalWorks (financial assistance) programs. We also are criminalizing homelessness. Californians just voted through a terrible bill that allocates funding for homeless addicts & mentally ill, but it wonโ€™t help them in a way that will help & it will only exacerbate the homelessness of families that do need assistance. Itโ€™s extremely disgusting to witness.

Iโ€™m a disabled single mom looking for an affordable rental of any kind. Itโ€™s myself (52) & daughter (15). I can pay $800/mo. Weโ€™re currently in Ventura County, CA, but open to relocating. Weโ€™re super respectful, clean, quiet, responsible, & considerate. We are Covid vaccinated & still mask in public.

I saw a post yesterday. It had 1 of the most ominous comments Iโ€™ve felt. Someone in the comments asked something along the lines of, what should we be investing in? And the reply wasโ€ฆ
โ€œWater. Buy all the potable water you can get your hands on.โ€ Thatโ€™s where weโ€™re headed with all this blockchain, AI, water intensive data mining stuff. Asking them to figure out how to make more potable water before using it all up is too much?!!
