Imho the only way they'll get away with this is to have a 'derogation' from the Human Rights Act 1998. They may be planning to withdraw from it, if they can hoodwink the British public into accepting that as well (which I doubt)... and it's still in place now.

Unfortunately something being incompatible with the HRA doesn't, in and of itself, mean that the people can simply avail themselves of their right to free speech.

This was so good I've already boosted it but am re-posting again because it is so apt in terms of context of migration but also how things have changed, and yet so many problems still remain unresolved. NI has a devolved government that's unable to sit because of Westminster's bad decisions, i.e. Brexit and the NI protocol, and Sinn Fein looking increasingly likely to gain a majority in NI.

The Tories absolutely must not try to withdraw from the ECHR without giving the electorate a say, which could only be via election or referendum.

I've tried making 'black gold' on several occasions, but ended up with foul smelling sludge on both occasions 😅

I gather that this is due to to my green matter/brown matter ratio, but I also noticed, when I did a little compost bin in the kitchen, that it seemed to draw in the fruit flies. Any tips and tricks much appreciated.
