Trying out my hiking pizza menu. All put together with shelf stable ingredients (no refrigeration required) and done on the jetboil. A damper mix for the base. Tastes good. Will taste awesome after a couple of days in the bush. Surprisingly filling too

IMHO: peeps yelling at Mastodon users saying they're failing because bluesky or threads has more sign-ups or they have more followers there.

It feels like living in a really nice town or city and someone's yelling at you that you're doing it wrong because you're not trying to be New York. I get it, NYC has a lot of people and some of them love it. But not everyone wants to live in New York

I need some climate scientist to reassure me that the science is all far too hard for my brain to comprehend.

Right now all I see is:
> a rapid increase in global average temperature,
> unprecedented global ocean temperatures,
> a woops-not-quite-sure-why rapid rise in methane no one was expecting,
> the end of La Nina,
> a massive reduction in Antarctic ice that won't reflect back the suns energy as it tilts into the Southern Hemisphere Summer in the next 6 months;
and my poor little risk adverse brain starts to think we might be rapidly more screwed than everyone is saying.

Am I becoming a climate cooker? Feel free to educate me because I have never wanted to be more wrong about anything.

Yeah, nah, thats not how it works. They are doing combined arns combat just like they have trained for. Sometimes the tanks lead, sometimes dismounted infantry lead, depending on terrain and threat. The ability to transition between the two and knowing when to transition is the important part.
